We meet at our central hub. Before we move, we focus entirely on safety. We do a professional briefing on Dutch cycling rules, hand signals, and group etiquette to ensure everyone feels confident. We break the ice, get to know each other, and prepare for a fun ride.
Vondelpark in 3 Minutes
Just 3 minutes after starting, we escape the streets and enter the famous Vondelpark. It's a car-free, green oasis where you can get comfortable with your bike while enjoying the scenery. We ride at a relaxed pace, soaking in the nature before heading into the city's history.
History, Water & Liberal Soul
We navigate the quietest streets of the city center to see the major highlights without the chaos. We stop to dive deep into stories of WWII and Anne Frank, the city's battle with water (dams & canals), and the roots of Liberal Amsterdam.
This isn't just talk: I use visual aids, archive photos, and even draw diagrams on the spot to help you truly visualize how this city was built and how it survived.
Memories & Q&A
We finish back at the shop. We snap a free Polaroid photo for you to keep and gift you a unique EcoEcho Postcard. This is the perfect time for any final questions about the city and for my personal food recommendations to end your day perfectly.

📍 Where is the meeting point & Bike Pickup?
We partner with Het Zwarte Fietsenplan, Amsterdam's most trusted bike rental company, to ensure high-quality equipment.
Location: Lijnbaansgracht 282, 1017 RM Amsterdam.
It is centrally located near Leidseplein. Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can adjust your bike seat for the perfect fit.
🚲 How fit do I need to be? Is it safe?
Amsterdam is flat as a pancake, making cycling effortless. We intentionally choose the "Green City Route" which utilizes quiet streets, dedicated bike paths, and parks (Vondelpark), avoiding chaotic traffic.
Note: You should be able to ride a bike confidently, but you don't need to be an athlete!
⚡ Can I upgrade to an Electric Bike?
Yes! If you want a completely sweat-free experience, you can upgrade to a powerful E-Bike for just +€10 per person. This is a great option for mixed groups where some members might want a little extra boost to keep up with ease.
