We start the day at the "Garden of Europe" Keukenhof. I hand you your ticket and you have 3 hours to wander freely among 7 million flowers. Breathe in the beauty at your own pace. Nature decides the exact bloom, but Keukenhof is always a fairytale.

From approximately April 12th to May 3rd, we extend our flower discovery beyond the park. After Keukenhof, we venture out to find the vivid tulip fields in full bloom, aiming to stop at two selected locations for breathtaking photos without the fences. Please note: Nature sets the schedule. The exact blooming window depends entirely on the weather conditions of the year.

We visit a traditional farm to see how things are done the old way. You will see a demonstration of how wooden shoes (clogs) are carved and how famous Dutch cheese is made. Of course, a generous cheese tasting is included!

Next, we head to the famous harbor of Volendam. We start with a surprise tasting. Then, it's free time for lunch! I'll reveal the insider spots for the best Kibbeling (fried cod) or fresh Herring (and more). You can walk the dike and soak in the atmosphere.

We save the windmills for the afternoon. Why? Because we visit when the big crowds are gone. It's the perfect time for photos and a relaxed walk among the historic wooden houses and industrial windmills. We discuss water management and history as the day winds down. Then a quiet return to Amsterdam Centraal.
The whole day is built around the size of the group. Eight people fit in a van, and eight people can hear the same story, laugh at the same joke and eat lunch at the same table. By the time we reach the windmills in the afternoon, nobody in the van is a stranger. That is the part guests write to us about afterwards, more often than the flowers.
No badges, no headsets, no counting heads in a car park. You get in the van at Centraal Station in the morning and you spend the day with the same small group. Solo travellers are in the conversation by the second stop. Couples get to be a couple. Families get room to be a family.
The time on the road is part of the tour. Between Keukenhof and Volendam we talk about the past, the present and the future of this country: how the water was beaten, what the flower trade actually is, what Dutch life looks like now. There is humour in it. It is a conversation, not a script read into a microphone.
Nothing is delivered as a lecture. Dates and numbers come attached to something you are looking at through the window, so you still have them a week later at home. Ask anything at any moment. In a group of eight there is always time to answer properly.
The cars and mini-vans are new, and the day is unhurried. Antonis is a licensed guide, VOG screened and first aid certified. A long spring day with several stops should feel restful in between, not like a race between car parks.
Whether a day calls for a car, a van or a bus, we look for the greenest feasible solution for that route and that group. Eight people sharing one van instead of four hire cars is already most of the answer on this tour.
The cheese and clog farm is a working family business, and the tastings are arranged by Antonis with people he knows. That is the standard for every stop where somebody hands you something to eat: family run and real, never a purely touristic operation built to move coaches through a shop.
Water is provided on every trip. There are books on board if you feel like reading on the drive down. Small things, and they are the difference between a long day and a long day that felt easy.
At the end of every tour we give you a short edited video of the day. Not a folder of raw clips, an actual little film. Most people expect photos and are surprised by this.
If someone loses a phone, a wallet or a passport, or takes a fall, you are not alone in a foreign country with a number that rings out. Antonis lives here, speaks the language, is first aid certified, and knows who to call and where to go. It rarely happens. When it does, it matters more than anything else on this list.
Lunch in Volendam is free time on purpose, because the good places are small and personal. You get told exactly where the locals go for kibbeling, for herring, for a proper drink. Same for Amsterdam, if you ask on the drive home.
We adapt the programme to the group and to the conditions. If the wind turns, if the fields peak early, if the group wants twenty more minutes among the flowers, the plan moves. And we look for the most authentic route between the famous stops, not the fastest one.

Antonis is a rock star! He's organized, warm, and so enthusiastic about Dutch history. A born storyteller who had us hanging on his every word! I knew seeing the gardens and fields of tulips would be magnificent, but seeing them with Antonis transformed the excursion from great to spectacular.
Amazing tour with amazing guide! Antonis is so knowledgeable and makes the tour so much fun. He has a joyful personality! Our day was filled with not just Tulips but unique experiences like a visit to a clog and cheese maker and fishing village. Original windmills too! And, he timed our stops at each location to avoid the most crowded times at each one. We loved that it was a small group in a very comfortable minivan, and a great Spotify Playlist of Antonis favorites!
We had the BEST DAY EVER! Antonis was an unbelievably fun guide who was so knowledgeable about all the history of Amsterdam and the areas we visited. We work with travel agencies and tour operators, schools and universities, and companies who want the tulip season handled properly rather than in bulk. The small group format is the point: eight guests per van, a licensed guide with them all day, and a short film of the day at the end that clients tend to remember long after the invoice. Larger parties run as several vans on the same route, or as a fully private day picked up door to door from the hotel. The programme is adapted to your brief, your timings and the weather on the day, and Antonis guides in English or Greek.
