A day in five acts.

Flexible, never rushed. Antonis adapts the pace to the group.

    01

    Keukenhof Gardens (At Your Pace)

    At your pace

We start the day at the "Garden of Europe". Since this is a private tour, you are not rushing to catch a bus. I hand you your tickets and you have plenty of time to wander freely. Want to stay longer? No problem. It's your day. 3hours usually is the perfect time and have more time for the other destinations.

    02

    Bonus: Exclusive Tulip Hunts

    Apr-May bonus

Between April 12th and May 3rd (nature permitting), we go off the beaten path. With our private vehicle, we can access smaller roads and hidden fields that big buses can't reach. We'll stop for photos wherever you want, ensuring you get that perfect shot without the crowds. After that one more surprise visit to blend even more with the locals.

    03

    Private Farm Visit

    Tastings

A quiet stop at a working family farm where two old Dutch traditions still happen by hand. You see how authentic Gouda is produced from fresh raw milk through aging on wooden boards, and watch a craftsman shape a pair of klompen out of a single block of poplar on a traditional lathe. The cheese you taste is the real thing, made on site, not the supermarket export version. Visits like yours put money directly into a small family business keeping Dutch craft alive.

    04

    Volendam (Lunch at Leisure)

    Lunch at leisure

We head to the harbor of Volendam. Start with a surprise tasting, then guiding and at the end of this story you enjoy lunch at your leisure. As a private guest, you can choose where to eat, from a quick herring stand to a nice sit-down restaurant overlooking the IJsselmeer. I'll share my top local recommendations.

    05

    Zaanse Schans (Flexible Timing)

    Flexible timing

We aim to visit the windmills when the bulk of the crowds have left. Walk among the historic green houses and industrial windmills.

Your Exclusive Dutch Puzzle: Water, Wind & Flowers

A Dialogue, Not Just a Tour

While the Netherlands exports nearly 7 billion flower bulbs, your private experience goes much deeper than the statistics. At your own pace, we connect the pieces of the past. We explore the unfiltered story of the tulip, from the Tulip Mania (1637) to modern trade, tailored specifically to your interests and questions.

Zaanse Schans (Industrial Focus)

We take the time to explain why these mills were the world's first industrial zone. We can dive deep into how they sawed wood for ships or pressed oil, fueling the Golden Age.

The Polders (Water Management)

Understanding the struggle with water is complex. We use visual tools and conversation to show you how dry land was created for the cows and flowers.

Volendam (Culture & Trade)

Beyond the tourist path, we discuss the authentic history of the Zuiderzee and the fishing culture that fed the nation.

Got Questions?

Everything travelers ask us about this tour.

Where do you pick us up?
Anywhere in Amsterdam! We will pick you up directly from your hotel lobby, your Airbnb address, or the River Cruise Passenger Terminal (PTA). Just let us know your location when booking.
    Can we customize the itinerary?
Absolutely. That's the beauty of a private tour. If you want to spend 4 hours in Keukenhof and skip the cheese farm, we can do that. If you want a longer lunch by the sea in Volendam, it's up to you. It is your day.
What kind of vehicle is used?
We use modern, air-conditioned mini-vans (like Mercedes V-Class, Ford Transit or similar) ensuring comfort and plenty of legroom. Since it's private, you have the whole vehicle to yourselves. For bigger private groups we also have the option of mini-bus.
    Is lunch included?
We include generous tastings (cheese, cookies), but a full lunch is not included. This allows you the freedom to choose any restaurant in Volendam, from fresh fish stands to high-end dining, based on your preference and budget.
