Who runs private tours and private day trips in Amsterdam?
EcoEcho Tours does. Antonis Iliadis, a licensed tour guide who lives in Amsterdam, guides private tours and private day trips himself, in English or Greek: walking tours of Amsterdam, countryside bike rides, and full days out to Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Edam, Giethoorn, Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague. A private day is your group only, at any group size: two of you, a family with children, friends, a team from work, a school class, a university group, a club, a coach party, or one person travelling alone, at your own pace. On a day trip the running order is rearranged around the weather rather than fixed in advance. Guests who use a walking stick, a walker or a wheelchair are welcome as long as they can stand and walk a short distance with help, and heavier mobility needs are discussed honestly before booking rather than promised. Prices are per group rather than per person, and because the date changes what a day costs to run, most routes are quoted for your dates rather than printed on the page. Days that do not exist yet are built from a brief.

That is the part that does not fit in a description. It is a small group, it is your own group, and there is one person whose whole job that day is your day.

On a day trip the order of the day is not fixed in advance. If the rain arrives at two, the indoor stops move to two. Guests write about this more than about any single sight: the day was rearranged around them and they still saw everything.
Walking sticks and wheelchairs, honestly.
Guests who use a stick, a walker or a wheelchair are welcome on a private day, as long as they can stand and walk a short distance with help. That is the honest limit, and it is the founder's own line: heavier mobility needs are not something to promise, because a day that does not work is worse than a day not booked. Tell me the situation before you book and you get a straight answer about which stops work.

A private tour is just your group, no strangers, at any group size. Eight travel comfortably in the van and a bigger party simply gets a bigger vehicle; fifteen walk or ride behind one guide, and more people simply means more guides. Two of you, a family with children, friends travelling together, a team from work, a school class, a university group, a club, a coach party, or one person travelling alone: whatever you are, the day is built for exactly that.

▸ How is a private tour priced?
One price for the whole group, never per person, and no per-person surprises. There is no single flat price per route, because the date matters: a Tuesday in November and a Saturday in tulip season are not the same day to run. Some pages show a starting price, for example the private countryside bike day from €405. Most are quoted for the date you actually want, and those say on request: send your dates and who is coming, and Antonis comes back within 24 hours with availability, the price for that date and the booking link.
